Since Term 2 of 2024, we have been actively implementing Life Skill Club activities in schools, guided by patron teachers and trainers. These clubs focus on preventing child delinquency through lessons on self-awareness, self esteem, child rights and responsibilities, delinquency and juvenile justice system, communicating effectively decision-making, treating others respectively, and emotion coping skills . Initially, student participation was limited, but through structured training and interactive methodologies like role-playing and group discussions, engagement significantly improved. Despite delays due to heavy rains and floods, we extended the project into Term 1 of 2025 to continue monitoring and enhancing the program.
In addition, we partnered with the Athi-River Sub-County Probation Office to raise awareness on child radicalization during parent meetings. Probation officers provided insightful lectures, and students confidently shared the life skills they had gained.
We appreciate the unwavering support from our donors and partners. Your contributions make a real difference in shaping the future of these children. We encourage you to continue supporting us as we empower young minds with essential life skills and crime prevention strategies. Together, we are creating a safer and brighter future!
