Every child should have the opportunity to stay in school long enough to develop their abilities and pursue their aspirations. Unfortunately, children from low-income families may face several challenges that interrupt their education.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is working to help vulnerable learners stay in school by addressing some of the most immediate barriers they face. Our project provides support for school fees, scholastic materials, and school lunch.
We aim to support children entering secondary school and continue supporting them throughout the six-year secondary education cycle. We also seek to assist students who transition into tertiary institutions where they can obtain practical skills and certification.
Objectives:
To support vulnerable children to enroll in secondary school.
To reduce school dropout linked to financial challenges.
To provide school fees and educational supplies.
To improve access to school meals for vulnerable learners.
To support learners toward secondary school completion.
To facilitate continued education at tertiary institutions.
To promote skills development and certification for young people.
Our goal is simple but meaningful: help children stay in school, continue learning, complete their education, and move toward a future with greater opportunities.
