Supporting the Complete Education Journey
For a child growing up in an underserved community, education is a journey that requires continuous support. Entering secondary school is only the beginning. Learners need school fees, learning materials, food, encouragement, and opportunities to continue their education.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is developing an education support project designed around this longer journey. We aim to support vulnerable children from the time they join secondary school through the six years of secondary education.
Where possible, we also want to support learners as they transition into tertiary institutions, vocational schools, and other skills-based programs. This can enable young people to acquire practical skills and recognized certification that may help them pursue employment, entrepreneurship, or further education.
Objectives:
To increase access to secondary education among vulnerable children.
To support learners throughout the secondary school cycle.
To provide school fees and scholastic materials.
To support school feeding for disadvantaged learners.
To encourage completion of secondary education.
To support transition into tertiary and vocational education.
To promote skills development and certification among young people.
We invite donors to become part of a child's educational journey—not just for one day or one term, but toward a future filled with greater possibilities.
