One Child, One Future: Educate to Liberate

The new school term began on Monday, 14 September 2026, and children are back in classrooms across Uganda. They are ready to listen, write, read, solve problems, participate in lessons, and discover new possibilities.

However, not every child returned to school with the basic materials needed for learning.

For families facing financial hardship, purchasing all the required school supplies can be overwhelming. Some parents and guardians must choose between several basic household needs, leaving children without adequate exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, school bags, and other learning materials.

At Good Cause Foundation Uganda, we are reaching out to our generous supporters to help bridge this gap.

We want vulnerable learners to sit in class with the confidence that comes from having the basic tools they need. A pen may be small, but to a child it can mean the ability to complete an assignment. An exercise book provides a place to record lessons. A school bag helps protect the materials they depend on every day.
