A new school term has begun in Uganda. Since Monday, 14 September 2026, children have returned to classrooms across the country, carrying their hopes, dreams, and determination to succeed.
But for children from vulnerable families, the journey back to school can be difficult. School fees are not the only challenge. Many families also struggle to purchase exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, school bags, textbooks, and other basic learning materials.
Without these supplies, children can find it harder to participate fully in lessons and complete their schoolwork.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is therefore calling on donors, friends, and well-wishers to help equip children with the materials they need for this new term.
You can make a difference by giving whatever you can afford.
Your support could help a child receive a set of exercise books, writing materials, a ruler, a school bag, textbooks, or other essential supplies. Every item placed in a child's hands represents more than a school material—it is a tool that supports learning and strengthens a child's opportunity to progress.
Education can open doors to a better future, but children need support to walk through those doors.
Together, let us equip children today so they can build stronger futures tomorrow.
