No Child Should Start School Empty-Handed
On Monday, 14 September 2026, schools in Uganda reopened for a new term. Classrooms are once again filled with children eager to learn, grow, and build a better future. Yet behind these hopeful beginnings are children whose families struggle to afford even the basic materials required at school.
A child may have the determination to study but lack a pen to write with. Another may share an exercise book with a sibling, while another may attend school without a school bag or essential learning tools.
This is where your support can make a difference.
Good Cause Foundation Uganda is seeking support to provide vulnerable learners with basic scholastic materials, including exercise books, pens, pencils, rulers, mathematical sets, school bags, textbooks, and other essential supplies.
Your donation does not need to be large. A small contribution can help provide materials that a child will use every day in the classroom. Together, many small acts of generosity can help equip more children for the entire term.
We believe that poverty should not prevent a child from having the basic tools needed to participate in education.
As the new term gets underway, please stand with these learners. Give what you can and help ensure that no child has to face the school term without the materials they need to learn.
