On Monday, 14 September 2026, children across Uganda will return to school for Term III.
For many children, the new term brings excitement—the opportunity to see friends, meet teachers and continue pursuing their dreams. But for vulnerable learners, the first day of school can also bring anxiety when they do not have the basic materials or meals they need.
We are determined to help change this reality.
Through our education support initiatives, we are mobilizing resources for children at Masimbi High School, St. Bernard Mwenge Primary School, and Living Hope Junior School.
We need your support to provide:
Exercise books and textbooks
Pens, pencils and mathematical sets
School bags and essential learning materials
Resources for teachers and learners
Nutritious meals for vulnerable children
Education becomes more meaningful when a child has the tools to participate and the nourishment to concentrate.
That is why we are making this appeal before schools reopen. Every contribution can help remove a barrier standing between a child and their education.
