The countdown is on! Uganda's schools reopen for Term III on Monday, 14 September 2026—just five days away.
As families prepare their children for a new term, many vulnerable learners in underserved communities are still waiting for the basic resources they need to return to school with confidence and dignity.
At Good Cause Foundation Uganda, we are appealing for urgent support for children at Masimbi High School, St. Bernard Mwenge Primary School, and Living Hope Junior School.
Our priority needs include:
Exercise books and textbooks
Pens, pencils, rulers and mathematical sets
School bags and other learning supplies
Teaching and learning materials
Nutritious meals through school feeding programs
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported our children before. Your generosity has helped put learning materials into children's hands and brought hope to families who need it most.
But with only five days remaining, we need your help now.
A child should walk into the classroom ready to learn—not worried about having no book, no pen or no meal.
Your donation, no matter the size, can help us prepare another child before the school bell rings.
Please donate to our GlobalGiving campaign today and help us reach more vulnerable children before 14 September.
Let's make this Term III a new beginning filled with learning, dignity and hope.
