The countdown has begun. Uganda's schools reopen for Term III in just one week—Monday, 14 September 2026.
While many children are excited to return to school, vulnerable families are facing the difficult task of preparing their children with limited resources. For some learners, returning to school may mean sharing exercise books, going without essential stationery or attending classes without adequate meals.
At Good Cause Foundation Uganda, we believe every child deserves to begin a new term feeling prepared, supported and valued.
That is why we are appealing for your support for children at Masimbi High School, St. Bernard Mwenge Primary School, and Living Hope Junior School.
Help Us Fill the Gaps
Your donation can help provide:
Exercise books and textbooks
Pens, pencils, rulers and mathematical sets
School bags and other learning supplies
Educational resources for teachers and learners
Nutritious meals for vulnerable children
These may appear to be simple needs, but for a child from a struggling household, they can make a tremendous difference.
A book can open a world of knowledge.
A pen can become a tool for a child's dreams.
A meal can give a hungry learner the strength to concentrate.
A school bag can restore confidence and dignity.
We are now in the final week before schools reopen. We cannot reach every child without your help.
If you have supported our work before, we kindly ask you to continue standing with us. If you are considering making your first donation, this is a meaningful moment to join us.
Let us come together before the first lesson begins and help more children walk through the school gates ready to learn.
Please donate through our GlobalGiving campaign today. Your kindness can help make the first day of Term III a day of hope rather than hardship.
Together, we can prepare a child for school—and prepare that child for a brighter future.
