A Strong Appeal for Continued Support

By Jawanghe Joseph | Project Leader

As Ugandan schools prepare to reopen in the coming two weeks, we would like to express our deepest appreciation to our generous donors, partners, and the GlobalGiving community for the support you have continued to extend to vulnerable children.

Your kindness has already made a meaningful difference in the lives of children by helping them access essential learning materials and experience school with greater confidence, dignity, and hope. Every book, pen, uniform, bag, and other scholastic item may appear simple, but to a child facing hardship, it can be a powerful source of encouragement and motivation.

As the new school term approaches, our strongest appeal is for continued support toward scholastic materials so that more children can return to school prepared, confident, and motivated to learn. We want every child to begin the new term knowing that their education matters and that there are people who believe in their dreams and future.

For many vulnerable children, the lack of basic learning materials can make school difficult and discouraging. Your support can help remove these barriers and give children the opportunity to participate fully in lessons, complete their schoolwork, and learn with greater ease and confidence.

We are therefore kindly appealing to our donors and friends around the world to continue standing with us. Your contribution today can help place a book in a child's hands, restore a child's confidence, and strengthen a child's determination to stay in school.

We are committed to using every contribution responsibly and ensuring that support reaches children who need it most. We will continue sharing updates and stories from the field so that our supporters can see the difference their generosity is making.

From the children, their families, teachers, and our entire team, thank you for believing in their potential and investing in their education. As we look forward to reopening schools, we hope you will continue walking this journey with us.

Together, we can give children the materials, hope, energy, and morale they need to return to school ready to learn and build a brighter future.
