As Ugandan children begin their two-week school holiday tomorrow, Friday, 21 August 2026, we pause to express our deepest gratitude to the generous funders, donors, supporters, and the GlobalGiving team for the incredible role you continue to play in supporting children’s education.
Because of your generosity, children who might otherwise struggle without essential learning materials have received valuable support. These contributions have helped restore confidence, encourage school participation, and remind children that people around the world believe in their dreams.
However, the holiday also gives us an important opportunity to prepare for what comes next. In only two weeks, children will return to school, and many vulnerable families will need support once again. We do not want any child to return to class without the basic materials needed to learn.
We therefore kindly appeal for more support. Every contribution, regardless of its size, can help us provide scholastic materials and educational support to children who need it most. Your continued partnership can help ensure that the new school term begins with hope rather than uncertainty.
To all our supporters, thank you for walking this journey with us. Together, we can keep children in school, strengthen their confidence, and give them the opportunity to build better futures.
