Tomorrow, Friday, 21 August 2026, schools across Uganda will close for a two-week holiday. As children take this important break from their studies, Good Cause Foundation Uganda would like to sincerely thank every donor, funder, and the GlobalGiving team whose generosity has helped children access much-needed scholastic materials.
The support received has made a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families. For some children, receiving basic learning materials means being able to participate more confidently in class, complete assignments, and remain engaged in their education.
But our work does not end with the beginning of the holiday. In just two weeks, these children will be preparing to return to school, and many vulnerable families will once again struggle to meet the costs of books, pens, uniforms, school supplies, and other educational necessities.
We are therefore appealing for continued support during this holiday period so that we can prepare early and reach more children before schools reopen. Your continued generosity can turn a difficult school return into a hopeful new beginning. Together, we can help children go back to school ready to learn, grow, and build a brighter future.
We deeply appreciate everyone who has already supported this cause. Your kindness continues to make education more accessible and meaningful for vulnerable children in Uganda.
