One Child, One Future: Educate to Liberate

As Ugandan schools begin a two-week holiday tomorrow, Friday, 21 August 2026, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our generous funders, supporters, and the GlobalGiving team for standing with vulnerable children and helping provide essential scholastic materials.
Your support has brought hope, dignity, and renewed motivation to children who often face significant challenges in accessing the basic materials they need to learn effectively. Every book, pen, uniform, and scholastic item provided represents more than a material gift—it is an investment in a child’s education and future.
During this short holiday, children will return home with renewed hope as we prepare for the next school term. However, many families are already facing the challenge of preparing for their children’s return to school. We therefore continue to appeal to our generous donors and friends around the world to support us with additional contributions.
With your continued partnership, we can help more children return to school prepared, confident, and ready to learn. Thank you for believing in Uganda’s children and for helping us ensure that poverty does not become a barrier to education.
