Good Cause Foundation remains committed to addressing barriers that prevent children from accessing quality education. One of these barriers is hunger, which can significantly affect a child's ability to learn. Through our school feeding program, vulnerable learners receive nutritious meals that enable them to focus on their studies and reach their full potential.
This reporting period, hundreds of students benefited from daily meals provided through the program. Teachers reported that learners appeared more attentive during lessons, completed assignments more effectively, and demonstrated improved academic engagement. School administrators also observed a reduction in absenteeism among beneficiaries.
The provision of meals has become an important incentive for school attendance, particularly among children from low-income households. Parents have shared that the program provides reassurance that their children will receive at least one nutritious meal each day while attending school.
By addressing both educational and nutritional needs, the school feeding initiative is creating a supportive environment where children can thrive. We are deeply grateful to our donors whose generosity continues to improve the lives of vulnerable learners and strengthen educational outcomes within our communities.
