Ensuring Vulnerable Learners Remain in School
Good Cause Foundation remains committed to ensuring that children from underprivileged communities have the opportunity to access and complete quality education. During this reporting period, we continued supporting vulnerable learners through payment of school fees, provision of scholastic materials, and school lunch assistance.
The support provided has helped learners remain enrolled and actively engaged in their studies. School administrators have reported a reduction in absenteeism among supported students, while parents have expressed appreciation for the assistance that has eased financial pressures on their households.
Our field team conducted school visits to monitor academic progress and identify additional needs among beneficiaries. These visits confirmed that learners are making steady progress and remain motivated to pursue their educational goals.
Challenges: The increasing cost of education continues to affect many families, leading to a growing demand for support.
Future Plans: We aim to expand our beneficiary base and strengthen partnerships with schools to improve educational outcomes.
