Give Vulnerable Populations Access to Therapy Dogs

Dear Donors and Supporters, 

Let us thank you all for your continious support. With your generous donoations we were able to provide CAI sessions in Armenia as well as realizing educational programs both in Armenia and in the USA. 

Your donations help us to create a better mental health condition for people with disabilities. With your donations, Oknooshoon Team is planning to start a second therapy team in Armenia thus spreading the idea and our mission beyond the locations that we are curruntly realizing activites. 

This quarter we were able to provide educational programs for children in the USA and for students in Armenia.

Oknooshoon team on behalf of the favorite colleague and main team member Dobby thanks you all for your generous donations and support.

The last quarter was very productive for Oknooshoon as we were able to realize more than 35 CAIs for 24 people with different abilities. Apart from realizing CAIs we have also been involved in the process of providing educational presentations.

The quarter was also productive for continuing education for all staff members.The team was involved in many educational programs and learnings.

With all that being said we were able to provide more than 30 sessions in three different locations with an  aim to change lives and situations in Armenia. 

Step by step we see the difference that we aimed at making. Our future plans include the spread of CAI sessions beyond our capital city Yerevan. For this we need your support.

Dear Oknooshoon Community,

 

This report is a reminder that with your generous support we keep progressing.

As the first certified therapy team we are extending our activities and apart from providing Canine Assisted Interventions, we have already started the educational program, spreading the idea of canine assisted intervention and strengthening the bonds between dogs and people in Armenia.

Currently, we are providing CAIs in three locations for more than 30 people. Our goal for the upcoming months is to provide more sessions and to have more educational seminars.

It has been a while since our last report. What a period of life!

With your help and support we are able to provide CAI sessions to vulnurable groups and guess what, we are so good at it. 

Our Dobby (therapy dog) and Hrach (dog handler) enjoy spending time with their friends from People of Warm Hearth and people of WH are so much fond of the sessions.  

During this period we have provided 24 in person sessions in POWH. The next step is to provide educational seminars which we are planning to do in a very near future.
