We designed two backpacks to meet basic education and hygiene needs of children who start working when they are school age, remaining out of school and have to live in unhealthy and unhygienic conditions due to poverty. Our purpose is to send children OKI backpacks that would meet their stationery needs, refreshing their connection to school and HIJI backpacks that would meet their hygiene needs with your donations.
Working disconnects the child from school. It affects not only today but also tomorrow. The child growing away from education continues to struggle with poverty in adulthood. Having to work harms the physical and mental development of children. They are taking away their basic rights of education and healthy development. Children who have to work cannot go to school and cannot grow up healthy.
OKI and HIJI want to reach children who are deprived of their basic rights due to 'child labour'. It supports children to step into a new future with their bags. He inspires their future with happiness and courage.
