Hello everyone!
It has been a while since my last report but it is because yearend is a very busy period at APAE! Imagine putting together a Dance Festival involving more than 250 people with different levels of intellectual and/or multiple deficiencies for an audience double that size! That is what happened at yearend, as it does every year!
I am posting some pictures so that you can have a feel of the atmosphere that reigned in the Festival, which happens annually and is a “happening” in the community!
And of course, I’m posting pictures of the assisted exercising in the open door Gym that you guys helped put together. Since its opening in September of last year, almost 100 of the assisted started working out.
According to Prof Fabiano, physical education teacher, the outdoor gym facilities had a very positive impact on the kids and adolescents, as he feels that they are much more motivated to exercise now.
We expect 100% of the assisted that are apt to develop physical activities to be using the gym facilities until yearend.
It is never too much to thank you for the support and to kindly ask that you spread the word among your network of relationships about our project, which continues to count on donations!
Best regards,
Celi
