By Graciela Chediak | Secretary, Ecuadorian Volunteers Association
Members of Ecuadorian Volunteers Association personally delivered $15,000.00 to equip the Occupational Therapy Model Apartment at Fundaciòn Triada. This project at Fundacion Triada (Quito-Tumbaco, Ecuador) will create a model apartment simulating living quarters, where patients with neurological disabilities will experience and train for an autonomous life by learing how to carry out daily activities such as preparing a meal, eating, making a bed, bathing and getting dressed by themselves. This project will benefit 60 to 80 patients and their families. The vision of Fundacion Triada is to serve 200 patients with neurological disabilities by the end of the year 2020.
Accomplishing this goal, the first of its kind in Ecuador, could not have been possible without the generosity of all our donors!
Enjoy the photos of our visit today. We hope that the next report willl include ones of the finished project.
