The Occupational Therapy Model Unit at Fundacion Triada will apply the most innovative techniques to offer quality attention to their patients as they learn or re-learn how to do daily activities, such as showering, getting dressed, brushing their teeth or simple household chores such as cooking a meal or washing dishes. These activities which might sound “simple” for those who do them daily without realizing how much body and brain connections are working, are a real challenge for patients with neurological disabilities. As the patients learn to perform these activities they will gain independence and self-esteem.
