Thanks to you, Wabar is healthy now! When his mother first brought him to our emergency feeding clinic, his arm measured in the red zone. That meant he was dangerously malnourished. This made him sick, and if he didn’t get the proper nutrition soon his entire life would be affected by poor development and stunted growth. He could even die.
But, thanks to your gift, Wabar was given emergency food packets that provided all he needed to gain weight and return to health. These packets contain all the protein, nutrients, healthy fats, and vitamins that malnourished children like Wabar need, combined in a peanut-butter-like paste that tastes good. By eating one of these packets each day for one to three months, a child under age 5 regains strength, begins to gain weight, and returns to health.
