Thanks to you, precious little Hamdi is healthy today! When she came into our nutrition clinic a few months ago, she measured in the red zone, which means she was dangerously malnourished.
Three-year-old Hamdi had been sick for five months and vomited often when her mother brought her to our emergency food clinic in Somalia. Without enough food for her family, she was in danger of malnutrition, so she was given emergency food packets to restore her body.
These packets contain all the nutrition a young child like Hamdi needs. Protein, nutrients, healthy fats, and vitamins are combined in a peanut-butter-like paste that tastes good. By eating one of these a day for one to three months, a child under age 5 regains strength, begins to gain weight, and returns to health. It's like a miracle, and families are so grateful for your gift!
Thank you for giving so little girls like Hamdi can grow and develop normally. Your gift provided what she needed!
