Just when Farxiya thought all hope was lost, your gift arrived!
Because of the drought in Somalia, Farxiya’s three children were wasting away from hunger. These little girls were weak and malnourished, lacking the energy to play outside with their friends. Farxiya watched in fear as they grew weaker and weaker.
But you provided the miracle these sisters needed at just the right time!
Farxiya ran home the moment she received the emergency nutrition packets you sent, eager to feed her starving children.
The instant she tore open the packets for her little girls to eat, the powerful nutrition you provided went right to work! In a matter of days they stabilized and began to gain weight.
“I saw that they were improving! They are very good now,” said Farxiya.
When there seemed no way for these little children to survive, you provided life-saving nutrition. You gave Farxiya and other moms like her the emergency food needed to make sure their children survived.
