In the midst of continued conflict in Mali, GAIA Vaccine Foundation is striving to provide support to the local population through our ongoing programs, especially through access to nutritious meals.
Due to blockades and oil shortages, food access has become increasingly difficult and the cost to feed larger families more burdensome. Our Nutrition and Peer Support Program was created to alleviate some stress from individuals and families alike through food distribution, and invite our patients and community members to gather for nutritious meals once a week. In 2025, our Nutrition and Peer Support Program was able to reach 5,755 people, providing them with weekly meals and connections to a network of healthcare workers and experts.
Our goal is to continue to serve the community in and around Bamako, Mali as much as possible. With increasing unrest in the country, our goal has become more dire than ever. With your support, we can reach more of the population, and ensure that Malians have access to nutritious meals in these trying times. See how your donations can impact the community:
Your donations will enable GAIA Vaccine Foundation to reach even more patients in Mali, and provide potentially lifesaving support during this crisis. Thank you for your generosity and support at this time.
