Poverty not barrier for Education - Nurture Merit

Dear Well Wishers

Greetings from Vidya Poshak. Thank you for your continued support. Following are the highlights and plans for 2017-18 academic year.

• We have already identified 200 students joining pre university courses for financial assistance. The assistance will be distributed this month
• Currently we are processing applications from students joining degree courses. Once their income assessment is done by home visits 350 deserving students will be awarded financial assistance
• Vidya Poshak beneficiaries who appeared for final PUC examination 45 students have obtain the rank below 15000 in CET examination  and have joined Engineering ,medical and other professional courses
• Vidya Poshak Scholars  who have appeared for CPT/CS Foundation examination( An entrance test for Charted accountancy and company secretary), 7 have cleared the examination
• Three residential training programs covering 150+ students studying final year degree course completed. During the program the students were trained on skill required to start a career after their graduation.
• The libraries are kept open for any youth who is in need of resources such as Reference books, Computers & Internet facilities. Every month more than 2000 students utilize our Six Libraries and 28 Book bank centers
• Independence day was celebrated at vidya Poshak office and quiz and Essay competition were held Vidya Poshak Scholars
