Quarterly Update of Vidya Poshak activities-Financial assistance

  • For the academic year 2017 Vidya Poshak invited applications by financially challenged students who had appeared for SSLC examination for financial assistance to continue their higher education.
  • We received 1800 registrations for appearing to the Nature merit entrance test.
  • 1500 Students appeared for the examination conducted on 30th April 2017.
  • 700+ students cleared the examination and are eligible for the income assessment.
  • The dwelling unit visits for income assessments are about to begun
  • The results are out for the students who appeared for Class XI and Class XII end of year examination.

The performances of vidya Poshak supported students is as follows:

Class XI Students academic progress report

  • 100 % students were successful in the examination
  • 32 % of the students passed with distinction
  • 49(16%) students scored 90% and above
  • 18 students scored 100% in one or more subjects
  • 161(50%) students scored between 80% and 90% 

Class XII Students academic progress Highlights

  • 98.86% students were successful in the examination
  • 73 students scored 90% and above
  • 136 students scored between 80% and 90%
  • 38 % of the students passed with distinction
  • 20+ students scored 100% in one or more subjects
