Global Giving Donation Updates for Nurture Merit

Dear Well wishers ,

2015 was eventful and challenging for Vidya Poshak. We are very pleased to give you the yearly updates. Following are the highlights.

2000 students from economically challenged background from 10 districts of Karnataka were supported to continue their Higher Education who otherwise would have dropped out of Education.
Through Vidya Poshak Support 680 students completed their Graduation during the year 2015. Out of which 200 have completed their professional education. More than 75% of them got placement within 3 months of their completion of Graduation.
More than 25 students who completed their Class-12 exams topped their respective PU College and more than 40 of them got above 90% marks.
500 New students have been identified and inducted to the Nurture Merit Program, These students would be supported until their completion of their Education.
With GlobalGiving Donors support 64 students were assisted to continue their Education.
