Nurture 200 dreams, Give a child a chance

Good health is fundamental to childhood development, education and long-term wellbeing. Unfortunately, children living in poverty can face significant barriers to accessing basic healthcare, medication, health information and preventive services.

Through the Nurture 200 Lives Program, F SSIBU Mission Foundation aims to connect 200 vulnerable children and their families with essential health education, preventive care and appropriate support when health challenges arise.

The program will promote awareness of hygiene, sanitation, nutrition, disease prevention, menstrual health for adolescent girls and healthy lifestyles. Parents and caregivers will also be engaged so that health information reaches the wider household and can contribute to lasting behavioral change.

Where resources permit, the program will support vulnerable children to access appropriate medical attention and essential medicines through responsible referrals and partnerships with health service providers. We will also encourage families to seek professional medical care early rather than allowing preventable conditions to become more serious.

Donor support will help us address the health-related barriers that can keep children away from school and limit their ability to participate in daily life. Supporting healthcare is therefore also supporting education, protection and family stability.

Our goal is to build healthier communities where children are given the opportunity to grow without preventable health challenges becoming permanent obstacles to their future.
