In just one week, the school gates will reopen. For many children, this is a moment of excitement—a chance to see their friends, meet their teachers, and continue building their future.
But for vulnerable children and families we serve, returning to school can also bring anxiety. Will the school fees be cleared? Will there be books and scholastic materials? Will they have a uniform? Will they have enough to eat while at school?
No child should have to stay home simply because their family cannot afford the basic requirements for education.
At F SSIBU Mission Foundation – Uganda, we are working to ensure that vulnerable children return to school with dignity, confidence and hope. But we cannot do this alone.
To our donors and partners, your support can change a child’s story. A contribution toward school fees, scholastic materials, uniforms, meals or other essential school needs can mean the difference between a child sitting in a classroom and a child being left behind.
