Through the support of our generous donors, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is implementing parenting and child-care education to equip parents and caregivers with the knowledge and practical skills needed to provide children with safe, supportive, and nurturing environments.
The program provides guidance on positive parenting, child protection, emotional support, nutrition, hygiene, education, communication, and understanding children’s rights and needs. Caregivers are encouraged to replace harmful disciplinary practices with positive approaches that promote trust, confidence, and healthy child development.
This program is having a meaningful impact on the children we serve. Parents and caregivers are becoming more responsive to children’s needs, while children are experiencing greater care, protection, encouragement, and emotional support at home. Improved communication is helping children feel valued and confident to speak about challenges they face.
By investing in caregivers, donors are creating an impact that extends beyond individual children. Every parent equipped with positive parenting skills becomes an important source of protection, guidance, and hope for a child. Together, we are nurturing stronger families and creating safer communities where children can grow, learn, and reach their full potential.
