Across many communities, increasing numbers of children are exposed to harmful influences that place their future at risk. When girls and boys are unable to attend school due to financial hardship, they often spend long hours without supervision, making them vulnerable to negative peer pressure and unhealthy behaviors, including drug and substance abuse.

At F Ssibu Mission Foundation, we believe that prevention begins with guidance and opportunity. Through our mentorship initiatives, children receive regular support from trained tutors who encourage positive decision-making, self-confidence, and personal responsibility. These mentorship sessions provide a safe environment where young people can discuss challenges, learn life skills, and develop goals for their future.

Education remains one of the most effective ways to protect children from harmful habits. A child who is actively learning is more likely to remain focused on their dreams and less likely to be drawn into risky activities. By helping vulnerable children stay in school, we are creating a stronger foundation for their success and wellbeing.
