A Promising Start to the School Year

First Day of School- Lanzac, Haiti
First Day of School- Lanzac, Haiti

Grace and Glory Academy continues to stand as a beacon of hope and opportunity for 273 students in Lanzac, Haiti. This school year has begun with remarkable energy and enthusiasm, as the classrooms are buzzing with curiosity, laughter fills the playground, and the staff is fully committed to ensuring each child thrives. Despite the challenges of political instability, economic hardship, and natural disasters that have hindered access to quality education across the nation, our academy remains a steadfast sanctuary for learning and growth.

Over the past three months, thanks to the generosity of our incredible community—including eight new donors who recently joined our GlobalGiving campaign—we’ve made exciting strides. These contributions have allowed us to improve our meal program, ensuring that every child starts their day nourished and ready to learn. Teachers are integrating more hands-on activities, making learning an engaging and interactive experience for students. Plans are also underway to improve critical infrastructure, such as installing reliable solar energy, which will further enhance the students' learning environment.

Education at Grace and Glory Academy is about more than just academics—it’s about building a safe, supportive space where children can explore, play, and dream. As we prepare for Giving Tuesday, we look forward to deepening our impact by expanding access to nutritious meals, strengthening our resources, and continuing to foster an environment that inspires students and empowers their future. Thank you for believing in the transformative power of education and for joining us on this incredible journey with Grace and Glory Academy. Together, we are shaping brighter futures.
