Food is a basic necessity and a fundamental right. In Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, over 187,000 people face food insecurity, and 46,750 families live with the uncertainty of not knowing whether there will be food on their table today. The lack of formal employment and the rising cost of food have left thousands of children, adults, and seniors in a daily struggle against hunger. In light of this reality, we are seeking international support to bring hope to these families.
Currently, over 46,750 families are facing food insecurity. Due to the rising prices of basic food basket items, these families lack access to the daily sustenance they need, and the absence of formal employment only exacerbates their situation. Our goal is to support more families that are vulnerable to food insecurity.
We provide food packages, complemented by workshops on nutritional education, health promotion, and household management, all aimed at improving the quality of life for families in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.
We contribute to reducing food waste through the continuous recovery of food from various economic sectors in our city and other regions of the country. The distributed food, along with nutritional education, helps improve nutritional health and fosters healthy eating habits among the population we serve, ultimately enhancing their quality of life.
