As we approach the end of our first quarter, we want to express our sincere thanks for your continued support. Since we opened the school doors this past February, your generosity has been the heartbeat of our community.
While we were overjoyed to welcome our students back in February, we must be honest about the difficulties we have faced. Unfortunately, we did not meet our initial fundraising targets for this quarter. This shortfall created a daily struggle to provide consistent, healthy meals for every student. At times, we had to make difficult choices regarding portions and frequency, which directly impacts the children's ability to focus and grow. Despite these hurdles, our staff worked tirelessly to ensure no child was left without support, and we have still seen a baseline improvement in nourishment compared to previous years.
The second term begins in exactly one month, and we are determined to ensure it is more stable than the first. We cannot allow our students to face the uncertainty of where their next meal will come from while they are trying to learn.
We urgently need your help to bridge this gap.
Our target for the next 30 days is focused on:
Meeting Our Full Enrollment Goal: Ensuring that every single student—not just a majority—receives a nutritious hot lunch every day.

Slowly but surely, we are nearing our dream of a self-sustained school where every child in Uganda has access to quality education and health. We cannot get there without you.
