Kicheko Africa Foundation will support 200 malnourished children with TB in high-burden regions including Dar es Salaam region. We will provide therapeutic food, caregiver education, and community health worker support to boost treatment success and recovery. Your donation will save lives and build healthier futures for vulnerable children in Tanzania.
Tanzania is among the top ten countries with the highest burden of TB globally. The annual incidence of TB in children less than 15 years is estimated at 9,000 cases with only 6,407 children being reached by health system. Malnutrition weakens children's immunity, making TB more severe and often fatal. Without proper food and care, these children face life-threatening odds. This project will provide therapeutic food, caregiver education, and train health workers.
This project will support 200 malnourished children with TB in high-burden regions of Tanzania with monthly therapeutic food, caregiver education, and regular follow-up by trained community health workers.
