Winter Raffle Results: We had another, awesome year with our winter raffle. Thanks to our donors, we were able to present a raffle prize list including Southwest Airlines tickets, a personal photography session, Barse jewelry, Kendra Scott jewelry, a 55" Samsung TV, cat and dog goodie baskets, and the list went on! In summary, we were able to raffle off 27 great prizes, resulting in a grand donation total of $15,825! We couldnt be happier about the amount of money raised. Thanks to all of our supporters whom helped make this year's event another success! This money will be used to support the daily needs of our shelter.
Shelter Rennovation Update: The weather is really starting to (really) warm up, and we are thinking ahead to our next rennovation project at the shelter: dog kennels! We are in the process of getting bids to help update our area for our pups. Our hope is to build kennels that allow dogs to have both indoor and outdoor access. We'd like to replace our current cooling system, industrial fans and misters, with air conditioning. We will be sure to keep you updated on our progress!
February Adoptions: 38 Dog & Kitty City pets found their forever homes in February! We also took in 35 new dogs and cats.
Do you recognize any of the names below?

Lastly, a great adoption story! Four of our feline friends adopted so far this year in were FeLV positive, and we are truly thankful to their new families for giving them an opportunity at a new life. Jessie, Nessie, Alien, and Sam were all diagnosed with Feline Leukemia, a disease that impairs a cat's immune system and can cause certain types of cancer to develop. Sadly, cats with known conditions such as this one tend to get overlooked at shelters, so when we have a story such as this one to tell, we are sincerley grateful. It should also be known that cats that are FeLV positive can still lead long and happy lives. Cats can remain healthy for months or years after their diagnosis until the virus becomes active. No matter the diagnosis or prognosis, we are very grateful to the families that adopted Jessie, Nessie, Sam, and Alien. We hope for many years of happiness and laughter, and we thank you for making a difference for these tiny and deserving souls.
