In 2015 we were able to adopt out 507 dogs and cats and take in 563! We couldn't have done any of that without donations from supporters like you!
Special story of the year:
Flash was a 6 year old Whippet mix who had some severe fear aggression of bicycles and strangers. He needed the perfect home and he waited 2 years to find it. He eventually got tired of waiting and swallowed a plastic Frisbee which had to be surgically removed. The shelter raised the $2000 needed for his surgery and sought a foster home for his recovery. Two volunteers stepped up and fell in love with Flash while he recovered. They adopted him and gave him the best home he could ever ask for For the remainder of his life! Flash was loved by staff and volunteers. Help us take care of our other unwanted/hard to place pets by making a donation to Dog n Kitty City (Humane Society of Dallas County)!
