We support 560 displaced children in Rhoo, Djugu, Ituri, with essential education kits and emergency learning support as insecurity and the ongoing Ebola crisis disrupt access to school. Your support will help children continue learning with dignity, hope, and protection during this crisis.
Insecurity and the ongoing Ebola crisis have disrupted education in Djugu, Ituri. Displaced children in Rhoo have lost access to schools and essential learning materials. We aim to support 560 vulnerable children whose education, protection and well-being are at risk.
YATOSHA will provide 560 displaced children in Rhoo with essential education kits, including basic school supplies, and support emergency learning activities. Working with local stakeholders, we will prioritize vulnerable children and monitor distributions to ensure assistance reaches those most in need.
The project will help 560 children maintain learning, routine and hope despite displacement and insecurity. Continued access to education can reduce prolonged learning loss, strengthen child protection and psychosocial resilience, and help communities build capacity to keep children learning during future crises.
