We owe a great big thanks to everyone that attended our Wine and Whiskers, annual wine and auction event. This was the first year for this event and we are extremely pleased with the turn-out and support. We have received many compliments on the presentations and our guest emcee 'Cliff Barackman' from Animal Planets 'Finding Bigfoot'. How wonderful it was for him to donate his time to support our shelter. The funds from this event will assist with this years budget needs.
Spring and summer are very busy with cat, dog and kitten adoptions. It's a popular time to get a pet. We are hoping to have an HVAC system installed before the hot days of summer to provide comfort and ventilation for the animals.....and staff and volunteers! This is our last big construction project for the shelter and hopefully we can achieve it this year.
We are pleased with our progress and enjoy giving you a this quarterly update.
