Progress on finishing the interior is underway, but progressing slowly. There are several safety features that must be finished, prior to opening to the public. There are several fundraisers planned to assist in accomplishing the following:
Install outer fencing
Install several interior safety gates
Install gates in north dog kennels
Install sinks in laundry and cat rooms
Install lobby reception desk and finish work
Train additional volunteers
A “soft opening” is planned once the above has been accomplished. The public needs a safe place to meet dogs and cats without the fear of getting hurt. The volunteers need a safe place to train, clean and care for the animals.
Your contributions have been instrumental toward building a fully operational shelter.
Thank You for your support.
