It's a new year and we are pleased with the progress of the building construction. The kennels and floor of the new shelter are in the process of having epoxy applied. The floor heat is now working, thanks to the hours of labor donated by DP Plumbing.
As soon as the epoxy is cured, measurements will be taken for kennel gates. There are a few other things that need to be done before the animals can be moved from the old shelter to the new one. Our first priority are the necessities needed in order to 'house' the animals. With the floor heat now working and the kennels finished, the animals should be able to be moved. Our first consideration is keeping the animals comfortable and healthy.
Thank you for your past donation, this has helped us get on the track to complete this project. There are many rooms to finish and equipment to purchase, but the animals will be moved soon, into a dry comfortable new building, thanks to your donation.
