The Fund for Keshatot Children [reg. no. 580540532, recognized charity, clause 46, Israel Income Tax Authority] was established in 2011 by parents of pupils who study at the Keshatot Center in order to support and expand the work of the center. The Keshatot Center is a multi-regional magnet school serving 91 children age 3 – 13 on the autism spectrum in 2 kindergartens and 11 elementary school classes. The fund seeks contributions for complementary para-medical treatments [which are not among the therapies and treatments provided by the Ministry of Education], therapeutic and technological equipment and infrastructure improvement. The fund also organizes enrichment and recreational activities provided by local volunteers. Because the Fund for Keshatot Children is run solely by volunteers, all monies raised go directly towards these activities. For further information about the Fund for Keshatot Children and its activities, please go to http://www.ykeshatot.org.il

The success of our School Playground Renovation Project encouraged the Fund for Keshatot Children and the staff of the Keshatot Center to keep making dreams come true, this time by renovating the 2 smaller playgrounds for our 2 kindergartens which serve children age 3-6 [The cost of both kindergarten playgrounds was 250,000 shekels including taxes]. The construction started in mid July and ended by August 14th, the children were occupied by the work and followed each step.

Now, as the new school year is about to start, the children of Star and Sun kindergartens have new shaded playgrounds to play in, totally funded by the Keshatot Children fund. All the activities are especially fit and aimed to stimulate the autistic children.

As we embark on a new year, we hope to start adding new therapy rooms and renovating one of the school's roof-tops as a playground.

We wish all our supporters a "Shana Tova", a good and productive new year, full of good deeds.

We would like to acknowledge and thank all of you who support the Fund for Keshatot Children. Your activities and donations have made possible a widening range of projects which help advance the goals of our very special Keshatot Center. The Fund for Keshatot Children is recognized by the Israel Tax Authority, clause 46.
