On January 23, 2015 our unit with the VFS Ligota Turawska trained fighting the fire on a wooden church in Zakrzów Turawski. Trainings were conducted at night - this allows the use more equipment.
Aim of the exercises was:
-quick arrival to the fire
-fighting with the fire
-evacuation of injured persons
-supply water to the firetrucks
After arrival at we lit area of activity.Then we proceeded to "extinguish the fire". Firefighters with special equipment started looking for injured people. We found one person and we provided medical care. Despite the low temperatures all firefighters came to the exercise professional. All tasks performed correctly.
Exercises came out very well and after 2 hours we returned to the base.
