Bringing Hope / Perukidz raises funds to feed the children in the poorest regions of Lima, Peru. We open feeding centers that feed up to 70 kids a day, 5 days a week. This takes some financial burden off their very poor parents and allows the kids to stay in school instead of dropping out to work. We also feed them well balanced, nutritious meals that they don't regularly get. We have two feeding centers currently operating and are now raising funds to open a third.
The children in the poorest regions of Lima, Peru often drop out of school as a child to go work to help their families put food on the table. The lack of education causes a never ending cycle of poverty.
Bringing Hope / Perukidz opens feeding centers that feed up to 70 kids every day, 5 days a week to take the financial burden off of families to put food on the table. This enables the kids to stay in school. We also feed them a well balanced, nutritious meal that they often don't get at home.
The long term impact of our feeding centers is huge. It will help kids get their education and stop the generational cycle of poverty from a lack of education.
