Rescue 10 - 15 horses from the brutal horrors of the slaughter pipeline at a Nevada Slaughter Auction. The horses that we will be rescuing have only two choices: be rescued, or ship to slaughter. The funds raised will be used for the purchase, transporting to our shelter in California, health certificates, coggins test, vet check and veterinarian care, rehabilitation, feed, training and care of the horses.
Horses are being shipped from Nevada auctions directly to slaughter by the hundreds a month. We can help save some of those lives!
By rescuing and bringing the auction horses to our shelter, and adopting them into great homes, we will be saving their lives and showing them the love, compassion and a great second chance.
Each horse that we rescue will never know the horrors of being brutally slaughtered in a slaughterhouse in Mexico or Canada.
