Imagine a child in Nepal dreaming of flying but never having the chance to explore aviation. We're changing that with Nepal's first-ever Flying Classroom, bringing hands-on aviation and STEM education to students, especially girls and underserved youth. Through flight simulators, aerodynamics labs, robotics, and mentorship, we'll ignite curiosity and open doors to aviation careers. We want to give them new hope and innovative opportunity and inspire the next generation of Nepali aviators-

Challenge

In Nepal, no schools offer aviation education, and only 2% of students have access to STEM activities. Less than 10% of women pursue STEM careers, with even fewer in aviation. 85% of girls in rural areas are discouraged from STEM due to cultural barriers. Additionally, 80% of rural students lack exposure to aviation careers. The Flying Classroom aims to bridge these gaps, offering hands-on aviation education and mentorship to inspire marginalized students, especially girls and give a new hope.

Solution

The Flying Classroom will provide remote and underserved school students with a unique platform to experience aviation and STEM education. By bringing a mobile classroom to both urban & remote areas, we'll offer hands-on learning opportunities, including flight simulators and STEM workshops. This project will allow students, particularly girls and marginalized communities, to access mentorship, break gender barriers, and explore aviation careers, inspiring a new generation of STEM professionals.

Long-Term Impact

The Flying Classroom will have a lasting impact to aviation and STEM education. It will empower girls and marginalized communities, opening doors to careers in aviation, engineering, and technology.
