Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your kind support to our project to provide assistance to poor families affected by the earthquake. This reporting period our staff have the opportunity to exchange ideas and learn from experts working on sanitation after the earthquake in Nepal during an Asian workshop held in Tacloban City and organized by the German WASH Network. One important knowledge is the sharing of low-cost sanitary pads that is used during emergencies and comprising materials available in the locality. This is often overlooked but a very important aspect in the humanitarian service delivery to the areas. The sharing was done by an expert from an international NGO working in Nepal and by which we planned to partner and coordinate with them in delivering this much-needed service.
Again, thank you very much for the support.
Very sincerely yours,
Cora
