Dear Friend,
Greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our project providing food security support for poor families affected by the earthquake. I am happy to inform you that this project is one of the best we have implemented because it is easy for the beneficiaries and it provides them with food in the very short term as some vegetables mature and can be harvested in 3-4 weeks time. Preparing the vegetable plots, making organic fertilizer, planting the seeds and taking care of the growing vegetables unite the family as they work together taking care of the vegetable plots. This reporting period we continue to grow vegetables in order to get the seeds that we can send to the youth association who is our partner in the area. We grow squash, cucumber and eggplant for their seeds and our goal this time is to send 5 kilos of these seeds for distribution to the families.
