Hello, Friends!
Thank you so much for starting the ball rolling in our campaign to strengthen Muslim female leaders in sports and in life!
We started fundraising many months in advance, so our project is still in the planning stage. We've started receiving recommendations for the six awesome Muslim captains from around the world who will gather in New Jersey to learn leadership and soccer from Julie Foudy.
Will you help us continue to spread the word and gather support?
We hope that our project won't be hindered by a Muslim ban that restricts freedom of movement across borders. Athletes serve as sports diplomats - spreading peace, inclusion, and understanding. Help us unite and unify young women of several nations in beautiful New Jersey this summer!
Please check out the attached article from a past camper and we're sure you'll agree that empowerment through sport is one of the best ways to strengthen girls' voices, determination, and abilities to change gender norms and push for equality!
