A new year has begun. Here's what you have helped us do so far:
We'd say we've done some great work together for music education. We couldn't have done it without you.
Next month, we are headed to Carnegie Hall to present five teachers with The Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation Award. The award recognizes teachers who best emulate the personal characteristics and dedication of "Mr. Holland" portrayed by Richard Dreyfuss in the 1995 hit movie, "Mr. Holland's Opus." In addition to the honor, each teacher will receive $10,000. To read more about this event, please read the attached PDF or follow the link below.
In the year ahead, the foundation's staff and board are excited and inspired to do all we can to help more and more young people by giving them instruments to play. The gift of music is ours to give. Thank you for your help.
